Baby Shower!

I know I've said this way too many times, but what a TOTALLY different experience this pregnancy has been. We have AC! We have AC in the CAR! Everything we have access to in our current life is so darn comfortable. Thank you Lord.

And I had a baby shower! So exciting! I've given many of them but never had one myself. This was a great great night for me.

Cathy hosted it at her house.

How lucky am I to have a shower thrown in such a spectacular place? Everything was perfect and perfectly me. Look at these books, all about Max. :)

And the colors were just so cool. Cathy's daughter Alyrose did these flowers. Beautiful!

The dining room chandeliers had vintage baby-shoes hanging from them. Arg! So cute!

....and yes. I am in Texas now.

Alyrose made this killer diaper cake. I can't even IMAGINE how long it took her!

And a wagon full of Fee-Fees. Who could ask for anything more?

A new gourmet cupcake shop opened next to Me & My House. Its called.....The Gourmet Cupcake Shop. Anyway, they have the best cupcakes in the world. Look how pretty!

Narg, narg, narg.

Thankfully they made plenty of the wonderful food and I've been eating it all weekend. It was so so good. I love dinner showers!

My sister was there by my side the entire time. Heaven! Thank you for coming Hayley. (More on my Friends-filled weekend in the next blog!)

All 4 of my nieces were there. Haley and Zoey were a tremendous help opening all my gifts.

It was a fun mix of people. Friends, family, church ladies. :)

And the girls were just so fun to have there.

Look at me go! Apparently I open gifts faster than the speed of light.

It was wonderful and beautiful and perfect. I couldn't have had a better time.
